If 80 percent of our liver were to be removed, the remaining part would continue to function, and within a few months the liver would have reconstituted itself to its original size. Although the liver is the largest internal organ of the body, it is only one to two cells thick.

I remember your story about your brother-in-law, who had liver operation. Is he still drinking?
After a complete recovery from the liver operation, he went back to drinking ugghhh!
He passed away eight years ago from a different illness.
May he rest in peace. Orphans na pala ang mga nephews and nieces mo. How are they doin? Where are they now?
All the girls got married; one is in Cotabato, one in Puerto Princesa, and the two are living in Tondo, Manila. The eldest, Efren, died when he was only 32. Cesar is in
Vigan. Rommel died at age 16. Hiwa-hiwalay nga sila. I am planning a grand reunion para magkita-kita silang magkakapatid, and get to meet my grandchildren, too.
