WE ARE BUT A SMALL VOICE

What kind of future awaits us when those who will inherit it see themselves as victims of oppression, exploitation, and deprivation? Perhaps, the best first step to free the world of poverty and violence is to guarantee that the earth will be made safe for the weakest of the weak.

The ethics and morality of the world should rest on no less than an enduring commitment to serve, protect, and love the helpless. I shout from my heart the tiny voices of the little ones and express the deep sense of hopelessness, frustration, resentment, powerlessness, impoverishment, helplessness, pain, suffering, the inability to be heard. But they shall endure the hardship and fight for their cause and be heard, the songs of their guttered souls shall resound to the ends of the earth.

We are but a small voice longing to be heard!

Alam mo ba tito bay na everytime na may makikita si Josh na streetchildren sa pinas last vacation ay nalulungkot sya at nag-iisip ng malalim. Paano raw mangyayari sa kanya kapag naging streetchildren din sya? Paano raw sya kakain? Sino raw magluluto eh wala naman syang pera.

Yes, Tito Bay, I always see our poor street children and the "taong grasa" just about everywhere in the city. It's high time that our government pay attention to the silent calls of our own poor people. My heart cries for them.

Sis Anna,

Jenny,

Howdy, how have you been. Are you in the kingdom, or pauwi ka na ulit? Lucky sent me a message about two weeks ago, and haven't replied yet. I promise to email her back this weekend.

Yes, if our government can't do anything to alleviate the situations, mas lalala. We need to join hands and help our poor Filipino children, but how? That is the big question. Somebody has to initiate the move!

Kuya Bay,

Sinabi mo pa, talaga maswerte pa rin tayo kahit hirap ang kalooban dito. Sa atin ang mga mahirap lalong naghihirap.

This is very true, especially in third world countries. We hope, too, that we can do something to help the poor and abused children.

My heart cries for them, too!

ZZ, you are right, kaya save-nang-save, so that we won't end up poor again pagbalik natin sa Pinas.

There are so many small voices out there left unheard. I pray that the cries of the poor reach to the Lord soon.
