A feeling of elation has turned to grief when my son, Jan, told me that his new-born baby boy, Rune Aaron, my new grandson passed away unexpectedly this morning.
A death in the family always leaves a void that cannot be filled. Instead of being a time of planning and hope, it has become a time of confusion and despair.
Anyone who has been through this would know the emotions and struggles a death of a child inevitably brings. It has a devastating effect to those who suffered the loss and the negative effects sometimes last for years making it very hard for life to go on. I know that for sometime things will never be the same for Jan and wife, Glenda.

A Poem To Remember
Rune Aaron
He was so very, very special,
And was so from the start,
You held him in your arms,
But mainly in your hearts.
And like a single drop of rain
That on still waters fall,
His life did ripples make
And touched the lives of all!
He's gone to play with angels
In heaven up above,
So keep your special memories
And treasure them with love.
Although your darling son
Was with you just a while,
He'll live on in your hearts
With a sweet remembered smile.
