A DISTANT GLIMMER FROM A STAR

One of the most elusive of all human experiences is joy; it's like a distant glimmer from a star. It comes when you least expect it. You can't catch it when you want it, and you lose it even when you are already touching it with your fingertips. But when you give up chasing it, it alights on your head, like a butterfly, and changes the world for you; the ordinary becomes extraordinary, dull moments become colorful, and everything seems special. Joy is like the rain, free, ever flowing, and it's more than just happiness to behold.

Joy isn't something we have to strive for. It's one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit. It's ours to receive if we abide in Him.

Sometimes we fail to recognize joy, we tried to search happiness at distant shore, on top of the mountains and beneath the clouds, but we go back home with an empty hands and a heavy heart.

Joy is within our hearts, it is our faith that creates happiness. Sometimes we need to become a child to appreciate joy.

God bless you.

Those were the days na mahilig akong magtampisaw sa baha! The joy is incomparable when you do things your way, di ba!
