In Thailand, kite flying is a big-league sport with established teams, umpires, official rules, and a national championship. The competition involves fighting between kites controlled by teams of up to twenty men.

I love flying kites. Those were the days na gumagawa kami ... ano ba yon.... yung nilalagay para tumibgay ang pisi.... yun na nga... basta't alam ko nilalagyan ng pinung-pinong bubog di ba di ba!

Yes, I love flying kites, too. We lived along the railroad tracks. I remember na nilalagay namin ang basag-basag na bote in an empty milk can at pasasagaasan sa train para mabilis. We didn't have to use hammer para durugin ang bubog. The word we used was "kola". With water, we boiled it until it became a little sticky. The rest of the procedures alam mo na because you were flying kites, too.
