TO TELL OR NOT TO TELL!

Sometimes bosses exhibit awful and annoying behavior. If you have to tell a boss that his behavior is a problem, do not tell him unless you are completely sure that is quite sportive. If he is not, you need to plan your strategy carefully.

C
ollect information to support your argument, then sit with your boss and put forward the issue honestly. Tell him how his bahavior is troubling others and suggest that he changes his bahavior. If an argument begins, be objective, polite and firm, but don't lose your composure. End the discussion saying that you do not hold anything against him personally but were concerned.

So easy to say, yet so hard to do.

MANAGING BOSSES

A local daily published an article about ways to manage your boss.

Are there really proven ways to improve work relationship with toxic supervisors. There are many kinds of bosses in the workplace, but the toxic bosses are the ones causing more harm than good to the organization. They can reduce valuable production time and increase cost.

It’s a bad thing that there are many toxic bosses in our workplace. They need to be lectured about professionalism. They need to understand the true meaning of teamwork, positive organization, trust building, values, ethics, and involvement. Most of the time rank and file employees do not get the chance to get back to them because of their positions and for fear of reprisals.

The writer said, once management identifies these toxic bosses, it has to decide on the best way to deal with them.
How are you going to deal with toxic bosses whose understanding of human relationship is almost "nil".
