A young boy at a wedding caused a ruckus among women when they caught him snapping photos.Photography of people, especially women, is still more or less frowned upon in the Saudi society, as the young boy learned when the woman began physically abusing him after they discovered his unintended plot to digitally dishonor them. The mother rushed to the defense of his son by removing her shoes and hitting other women with her heels. The other women retaliated in a similar manner, and the woman was aided by a group of women from her side of the family.
A scene worthy of Monty Python's Flying Circus ensues as the ladies engaged in a battle with shoes help up into the air. The fight ended when the men broke up the ruckus in spite the distinct possibility that at least some people at the wedding must have been utterly amused at the spectacle.
